Award-winning musician, Dr Malinga (real name Goodwill Malinga) is set to headline Gauteng’s annual event called Mutual Friends Festival.

The event is founded by 3M Dinesty Pty Ltd and DJ Soweto will be held at Recharge Braai Lounge in Midrand on the 28th of November 2020.

The first annual Mutual Friends was in August 2019 and was sponsored by Budweiser and Vtk Vodka.

According to one of 3M Dinesty owners, Catherine Mahamo and her business partners (Lebo Mahamo, Dj  Soweto and Yanga Mhaga) , this year’s sponsors include Redsquare and Whitley Neill. The partners decided to stage this Inaugural Mutual Friends Festival in Midrand because they wanted to create a platform where upcoming and seasoned artists can share the same stage and promote lesser-known entertainment venues

‘’My business partners, strategic partners and I decided to start this event “Mutual Friends” because we all believe in the power of creating a strong network and using that network to uplift upcoming artists by giving them a platform to showcase their talent and to afford them the opportunity to network unapologetically.’’

According to Mahamo, the event post might be showing Dr. Malinga as headline act but attendees of the event will also be entertained by other artists like DJ Sliqe, TLT, Sbo F, China Charmeleon and DJ Zan D.

Music, attendees might just receive exciting goodies. Mahamo did not want to reveal what those goodies will be.
