Exciting times are looming for fans as of BET Africa’s Isono telenovela as former Generations: The Legacy actor Thami Mngqolo joins the cast of the soapie.
Thami Mngqolo who is perhaps best known for his role as Senzo Dlomo on Generations: The Legacy will play the role of ‘Maradona’.
Mngqolo who has been away from our screens since he played the role of Senzo Dlomo returns as a hustler who is now a part of Gabriel’s gang on the Clive Morris Productions telenovela. It seems that many South Africans are happy that Mngqolo is finally returning to their screens as he had been away for a while.
Thami Mngqolo played the role of a gay man with such conviction that people began to wonder if he was homosexual in real life. In his private life, Mngqolo was previously married to the beautiful Jo-Anne Reyneke, who played the role of the beloved receptionist Pearl in Muvhango.
It was not to be, and Jo-Anne Reyneke and Thami Mngqolo shocked their fans in May 2018, when they announced they were splitting up after more than eight years together.
