Mzansi’s fan favourite actress, Dawn Thandeka King is leaving SABC1’s Uzalo for a new series under Black Brain Pictures production titled Diepsloot.
Recent developments confirmed by entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela allege that another reason for her leaving the show had to do with her new job opportunity on a new production in Johannesburg, hence she has left Durban for the new job.

Not much is known about the new series under production but rumour has it that Dawn Thandeka King has been offered a leading role in the cast.
Black Brain Pictures, which takes pride in producing some of Mzansi’s hit series like Side Dish and Lockdown is known for producing quality content for Mzansi screens.
Uzalo’s Mangcobo has worked with this production company before when she had a leading role on Lockdown.
