Makhadzi:”They really love my music and my dance moves”

Her album is titled Kokoba, and she featured Zimbabwean award-winning artist Jay Prayzah, Mzansi’s superstars Moonchild Sanelly, Mampintsha and Sho Madjozi on it.

Taking to Twitter to made the big announcement, Makhadzi said her album will drop 9 September.

The singer recently spoke to ZAlebs and said the reason she decided to work on her album, was due to the overwhelming response she has been receiving from her fans about her music and dance moves.

“They really love my music and my dance moves so that is why I decided to do a dance song which is called Kokoba on the album, and the whole album is inspired by the love I have been receiving.”

“Fans must expect to dance from track number one to the last song because we have been on lockdown and the only thing people want is to dance and good music, so I am giving them the album to dance and have fun,” she said.

Makhazi also revealed that she worked with her ex-boyfriend Master KG on the album, and said working with him is always a great pleasure.
