Pearl Thusi, has mastered almost all aspects of her career, but the one thing that appears to be giving her the most challenges – is raising her eldest daughter, Thando.
She tweeted, “Someone should have warned me about the teenage years.” The single mother of two didn’t go into detail about what issues her 13-year-old daughter was causing her, but she followed up by asked fellow parents what their advice would be when raising a teenager.
She asked, “What’s the best advice you’ve received for raising teenagers?”.
Pearl had celebrated the milestone with a touching post on social media reflecting on how it has meant to have a daughter like Thando.
Pearl stated, “My hitta is a teenager… wow. I tried to celebrate your last day as a 12-year-old. You’re actually a 13-year-old now… this is crazy. Where did the time go? I have so much to say … about how proud I am of you, your loving nature, your big heart, you’re the better version of me… and you’re becoming better and better every day… I love you so much. Thank you for being my biggest fan- I know my turn is coming soon as your own star is rising higher and higher.
