With just a day to go before the FNB Stadium plays host to the DStv Compact Cup final, DStv in partnership with the Premier Soccer League is pulling out all the stops in ensuring that fans in attendance enjoy an unforgettable stadium experience.
In line with the competition’s theme of ‘The Viewers’ Choice’, which celebrates the significant role fans play in this competition, both DStv and the PSL will open the stadium gates to two thousand fully vaccinated spectators.
As part of the various fan entertainment activities lined up on Saturday, Amapiano sensation, Young Stunner is amongst the headline acts confirmed to perform, while the impressively versatile and energetic, DJ PH will be spinning the decks.
In addition to this, the highly entertaining duo of Q-Mark & TP Zee, who made a name for themselves during the festive season will also provide plenty of entertainment for the fans.
“It is quite encouraging to see that things are gradually getting back to normal in so far as stadium attendance is concerned and thanks to the DStv Compact Cup, I am quite thrilled to be performing in front of a stadium crowd this Saturday,” said Young Stunna.
Speaking ahead of tomorrow’s ultimate showdown, Manager of PR, Sponsorship and Brand Engagement at Multichoice, Ntsika Msuthu said it is all systems go for Saturday’s finale.
“The DStv Compact Cup has been well received by fans across South Africa because of its innovative approach to bringing fans closer to their clubs and the game.
We want to put the cherry on top this Saturday by putting together an unforgettable football spectacle, which is inclusive of exciting football and live entertainment as part of the DStv Compact Cup,” said Msuthu.
Fans will yet again be given an opportunity to vote for substitutions by dialling *120*830* during the match to increase their chances of winning R1 million should they be a DStv Compact subscriber.
Fully vaccinated fans that are attending the stadium are encouraged to continue exercising caution and observe all government Covid-19 regulations.
