Serial Entrepreneur Rescue Covid 19 And Looting Victims

Johannesburg based businesswoman and philanthropist Thobekile Mdlalose has donated the first batch of essential products to Covid 19 and recent violent looting victims.

In an exclusive interview with JHR, the Esylife health supplier revealed informed her decision by the sad reality that many women and children would be stripped of their dignity and human rights to food and shelter.

“Access to shelter and food are primary human rights for everyone. Unfortunately, due to Covid 19 and the recent riots that happened in KZN and here (Gauteng), families have lost their streams of income and ability to access those basic human rights.

Upon realizing this problem and knowing my fundamental business values to help to better peoples life, I realized that it was my responsibility to donate these food parcels and toiletries here (Alexandra) and some of the seriously affected townships like Katlehong and Soweto informal settlements.”

Besides donating food parcels, toiletries, Mdlalose also gave away her business products like Moringa powder with Vitamin A which helps to maintain healthy vision, immunity, and Vitamin C which protects the body from pollutants and toxins.

According to Mdlalose, the SABS approved and registered business helps to boost the immune system and help with weight loss, fight fatigue, improve memory, increase and Alkaline water.

Nomsa Buthelezi was one of the delighted Alexandra based beneficiaries of Mdlalose’s philanthropic project. The 34-year-old mother of two kids lost her casual cleaning job after the first 21 days of lockdown in March 2021.

”Sisi Thobekile is a God sent a saviour. This donation came at a perfect time because I together with my children have run of food and other basic necessities. I had lost hope and trust in people, more especially Unlike our government officials and former who embezzled Covid 19 relief fund. I somehow believed that our pain as poor people is just a tool for others to continue enriching themselves and infringe on our right to dignity. Sisi Thobile is indeed different and God sent.” Buthelezi told JHR

How to get a donation

On the other hand, Mdlalose encouraged those who are interested in joining her philanthropic project to please follow her business social media pages. Alternatively, members of the public can also nominate someone who you feel is deserving assistance. This can be done by tagging them @SaXiangzhiling on Twitter and Esylife xiangzhiling on Facebook using the hashtag #Esylife
