Fresh off of the success of Showmax original movie, RAGE, Shalima Mkongi recently made a return to television screens on SABC 1’s limited series, Amazing Grace this past December.
With titles like Nkuleleko, Isithembiso, Keeping Score and Uzobuya on her resumé, Mkongi is no stranger to the local small screen. With Netflix’s acquisition of Diamond City, the actress gets introduced to global audiences in the supporting role of Soso.
Talking about her most recent role as Grace on Amazing Grace, the actress said, “This project has taught me to never judge people’s stories, we have no idea what they do to survive.”
