Musician Simphiwe Dana has revealed that she is part of the LGBTQI family, as a gay woman.
In a few tweets she came out to the world declaring that she is in love with a woman and are set for marriage.
The Bomako hitmaker amazed legion of her fans when she revealed that she is a gay woman and that she has been keeping this a secret for far too long.
After a lot of thinking, she finally realised that she is much happier with the secret out.
“I know coming out means Africa will block me. But, after a lot of thinking, I’m ok with it. I’m marrying a woman, and I’ve never been happier,” she said, revealing the woman who has captured her heart.
