Siyabonga Shibe has officially left Uzalo and judging from his lengthy social media post, he is heading towards greener pastures.
Earlier this year, it was rumoured that Siyabonga Shibe and Dawn Thandeka King would be leaving the show because they were accused of having some diva tendencies.
They both refuted those claims, but now Siyabonga is leaving on his own terms. In a lengthy Instagram post he thanked each and every person who made his stay at Uzalo an unforgettable one.
He acknowledged that at times he and the directors would be at loggerheads but said it’s water under the bridge as they all had a common goals which was to perfect the character people have grown to love, Qhabanga.
Siyabonga then thanked the writer for telling the stories that people in society resonate with as well as bringing characters to life.
Siyabonga will not be appearing in our small screens very soon as he plans on being a family man and rest for some time, but promised that he will be back when the time is right.
