“Taxi to Wattville” is an Amapiano song by Mr. Kgomo SA featuring John Beat. The song was released as Mr. Kgomo SA comeback/Debut single after changing a genre from being an RnB & Soul Deejay to be Amapiano Deejay and was his first single as the newest artist of Kgomo Music.
He dedicated the song to his small township called Wattville, which is not known by lot of people. He said
“I want to put my kasi on a global map because my township is rich of talent and has a rich history too.”
Mr. Kgomo SA releases his much anticipated debut single and said
“I have been working on this debut song from last year. All my experiences, inspirations and triumphant moments are all breathed and put into this song – with the hope that it shall bring joy and happiness to the many lives the music touches. That is my gift to the township.”
Determined to take over the Amapiano scene, Mr. Kgomo SA was formerly known as Mr. Soulful X and dropped two songs such as Easy Love feat. Amore, and S’dudla feat. Enzo both songs he co-produced them with longtime friend John Beat Khumalo. Both songs were heat on the street, it has was played in most of my kasi taxis.
Amapiano is known to be a fast burning genre with a new hit dropping every second day, but Taxi to Wattville and Mr. Kgomo SA are here to stay! In true Amapiano smash hit style, the track first dropped on the street and had everyone begging for it at every party.
Xolane Ngopbozana (born 3rd March 1985, popularly known as Mr. Kgomo SA, is a young talented South African entertainer and entrepreneur. The young act rose to the limelight by releasing raving Amapiano hit songs from kwaito days.
He slowly takes over the South African music industry like a storm. Within a short period, Mr. Kgomo SA has done tremendous and remarkable work in the music industry.
