Thuso Mbedu, the 2017 International Emmy nominee, is a Queen to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
She has starred on Mzansi Magic’s soapie isiBaya, a role as a student on Scandal! and on a teen series called Snake Park.
She only got her flowers from the drama series Is’thunzi, which premiered in October 2016 and earned her her Emmy Nomination.
In 2018, Thuso bagged a role as one of the leading actresses on Generations: The Legacy.
According to Sunday World, it was alleged that Thuso was to replace Thuli Phongolo & Andisiwe Dweba whose characters have been written off the show.
We can’t wait to catch this thrilling new series she is leading on, she joins Pearl Thusi as one of the first South African ladies to be a lead actress on an American series.
