Trevor Noah Wins Youth Literature Award

Comedian Trevor Noah has won big at the South African Literary Awards. The talented comedian has been awarded the Youth Literature Award for his book Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood.

This is a milestone for the comedian, whose book is aimed at providing children with some insight into what it was like growing up in the apartheid era.

“What a privilege to spread the joy we experience when publishing our children’s books, with the judges, the booksellers and the readers throughout the country,” he said.
