Uzalo airing on SABC 1 is welcoming new faces, Hlelo (Nothando Ngcobo) and Mthunzi (Andile Msomi).
With so much going on after Zekhethelo’s failed wedding ceremony, Hello and Mthunzi are exactly what Uzalo need to keep the drama heat.
Nothando as Hlelo describes her journey on Uzalo as exciting and it is her biggest project yet. She further expresses that she learnt that people should not be judged because we don’t know their struggle.
“Hlelo is a street smart young lady who has childhood demons that she fights daily. Because of this, she does not believe that she deserves the best that life has to offer her so every now and then her emotional struggles take over and make her make bad decisions. Besides all the things she has been through in her life, she is overall a very sweet and somewhat innocent girl,” said Nothando.
Andile expressed his journey as a great and amazing opportunity.
“The feeling was great and amazing because getting a role in the biggest show is a big break and I know I will grow as an actor. Mthunzi is a very manipulative man and has control over women. He doesn’t know how to love but claims things and demands.’’ said Andile.
From the newcomers, viewers can expect drama and true storytelling with great performance.
