The Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour, which took place at the iconic Camps Bay beach this past weekend, has wrapped up in spectacular fashion, delivering world-class competition, thrilling matches, and electric atmosphere both on and off the sand. The tournament drew top international athletes and passionate fans, cementing its status as one of the most exciting events on the global beach volleyball calendar.
In the women’s division, it was a powerhouse showing from Europe, with Germany’s Svenja Müller and Cinja Tillmann taking home gold after a stunning run of form. The Netherlands’ Katja Stam and Raisa Schoon earned a well-deserved silver, while Germany’s Sandra Ittlinger and Anna-Lena Grüne rounded out the podium in third.
The top eight teams in both categories shared in the impressive $400,000 prize purse, with first place receiving $70,000, second $50,000, and third $20,000 respectively.
“This year’s Beach Pro Tour has been an incredible celebration of skill, passion, and the global beach volleyball community,” said Leo Williams, event organiser. “The energy from the players, fans, and our partners was unmatched, and seeing the world’s best athletes compete at this level was truly inspiring.
