CEO and founder of easy pay innovation- ZAKHAA, Teboho Twala joined forces with Metro FM, the Department of Culture, Sport & Recreation and the Collen Mashawana Foundation to handover newly- built home to a family in Louisville, Mpumalanga, Mbombela.

MPUMALANGA, MBOMBELA: He knows what it is like to be homeless, and battling to make ends meet. Former street kid turned business maverick, Teboho Twala (ZAKHAA) partnered with Metro FM, the Department of Culture, Sport & Recreation, and the Collen Mashawana Foundation in generously newly-built home of Ms. Cynthia Mkhonta (35) and her four children living in Louisville, Mpumalanga.

Ms Mkhonta lost her eyesight in 2022 due to a long illness which affected her income. She and her four children have been living under difficult conditions. The family has been living in a mud hut with a separate structure for cooking and relied on assistance from family members.

ZAKHAA founder Teboho Twala was touched by the conditions in which the family lived, due to his own background as a former street kid.
“This touched me so much because of my background previously being homeless and living in the streets,” Zakhaa CEO Teboho Twala said.

“This is a start to a positive future for Ms Mkhonta and her children. Being part of changing lives  is part of what Zakhaa is about,” Twala added.
